AB  - This study aimed to devise instructional materials in the form of teaching modules on selected grammar lessons for grade V using the sector analysis approach. Three grammar          lessons were prepared to make up grammar cards and sub-grammar cards. These were tried out to the pupils of Grade V section A class at the Philippine Chinese Institute. Tests were given out to them to assess the effectiveness of the new method of sentence analysis. It was found that the          students had good grades in the exam, proving that the new instructional materials were effective in teaching English grammar to Grade V pupils.
